The route covers 17 countries namely Thailand, Laos, China (Yunnan, Tibet, Xingjiang), Kazakstan, Krgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, France and finally London UK.
Visit to Jenjarom Old Folks' Home On Sunday, 6 August, several members of the Rotary Club of Pudu and their guests visited with the Jenjarom Old Folks Home in Jenjarom, Selangor. The Rotary Club has been very supportive of this home to 20+ men since 1988, through various projects. On this particular visit, we were delivering a new television, DVD player, and ten bed frames, along with the regular semi-annual payment of RM3000 which helps to employ a maid and cook.
PP Dato Muslim will be Chef d'Mission for RC Pudu's Charity Rallython Extraordinaire 2005. This is an extraordinary journey overland Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to London covering some 19,000 km and taking about 63 days. The team consists of 45 people (14 of them ladies) using 16 Toyota Land Cruisers 4x4 all terrain vehicles. The team will be flagged off on 11 August from the Shangri-la Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
