The route took them through 20 countries namely Thailand, Laos, China (Yunnan, Tibet, Xinjiang), Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan (pass through), Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Germany (pass through), Luxembourg, Belgium, France (pass through)and finally London UK.
This rally was done in collaboration with TAC Adventurers who meticulously planned and managed the journey taking care of every detail, except for unforseen circumstances.
PP Dato Muslim, 66, was Chef de Mission for RC Pudu's Charity Rallython Extraordinaire 2005. This was an extraordinary journey overland from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to London covering some 19,000 km and taking 61 days. The team consisted of 44 people (some breaking journey along the way, and others joining in) leaving from the Shangri-la Hotel Kuala Lumpur on 12 August 2005. They arrived safely in London (Wembley Plaza hotel) on Tuesday 11 October, 2005.
